Is it Spring yet?

I know, I know... We shouldn't want these days to hurry on by but we can't help looking forward to so many things coming up.

  • The appointment with the geneticist
  • Auggie's ABR (Auditory Brainstem Response) test in March
  • WARM weather! Hopefully we'll be taking Auggie out!
  • Auggie getting his hearing aids
I'm sure there are others but I can't think of anything else.. in fact I know Tim & I have our own things we're looking forward to.

Auggie's last RSV vaccination went well. He cried for less than a minute. As soon as he was in his carseat and it was moving, he was asleep. Tuesday night, Billy & Julie came over for dinner. They have had us over so many times for dinner and some Wii fun so we finally had the chance to have them over. I made chicken tetrazzini- it actually turned out great! I was exhausted by the time they left. My nose is all stuffy/runny and my throat has been super sore lately. Where does it come from?? I don't go anywhere or see anyone to get sick from! I just hope it doesn't find Auggie!

Wednesday was pretty uneventful. Auggie slept most of the day, only waking up to eat. Tim stayed home til a little after noon to let me sleep. I've been sleeping terribly the past few days since I've been feeling sick. He was able to do some things for work on the computer and over the phone so at least he was able to get some hours in. When he came home, I took Aussie & Charley for a walk. They were so hyper when we started but luckily, they didn't drag me down the road like the last week! I'm sure I look funny being pulled by a lab mix and an australian shepherd.

I've finished the invitations I've been designing and took them to the printer last night. Other than a little hiccup with the color (even though I checked it several times), I should have them mailed tomorrow afternoon. I really hope they're liked! I've been trying to get some more designs up on my Etsy shop but my creativity has been lacking the past few weeks. I need it back! I don't know what I'd do if it never came back!!

I guess that's about it! I'll leave you with a few iPhone pictures. Next week (or the week after) will be Auggie's 12 week/ 3 month photo shoot! I can't wait to see what outfits he'll be fitting in then!
He was so sleepy on Sunday
The "Sherber-gular" sleeping on the floor in a comfy blanket
He's starting to keep his thumbs out from under his fingers
Someone wouldn't fall asleep and stay asleep if my finger wasn't on his soothie
Peeking at me to see if I'm still there
Auggie's double chin is really starting to show ;)
3-6 month onesie I ordered from T&T Treasures
I can't wait til he can wear it!
Poor little Auggie Bear... He has bad cradle cap :(
but he's kinda smiling here!
Keeping an eye for those red and blue birds!

Productive Weekend!

The weekend was great! Tim went down to the coast with Kent and Dustin for a weekend full of fishing. Don't think they caught much but I'm sure just being out in the water and outside for 3 days was enough for them to enjoy it!

I went to La Porte for a couple days while Tim was gone. Thursday night I met up with Shannon & Sydelle for dinner. Friday evening I ate dinner with Heather, Jessica & Stephanie. It was SO nice seeing friends again! I came back Saturday afternoon so I could make sure Charley & Aussie were behaving themselves. I didn't hear from the neighbors, so I assume they did.

My mom came to College Station Monday and helped me get the house organized. Oh- it is SO much better! We also put together Auggie's 1st piece of furniture!! My sister, Lindsay, let us borrow her changing table. I just can't wait til we get to order the crib! :)

I just realized I haven't promoted my new website on here yet! For now it is hosted by www.wix.com but I'm hoping to find a host site so I can have my own URL. Honeybee Creations specializes in natural light photography from family portraits to newborn photography at a respectable price. The goal of HBCreations is to allow everyone the ability to have professional portraits taken. HBCreations is available for special events, too. The design side of HBCreations specializes in affordable invitations and announcements for your special event! Please see our website for details: Honeybee Creations: Photography & Design

New Blog Layout :)

After I got my iMac, I got on our Blog and saw there was an AWFUL color... that yellow color? ullg.. Why didn't anyone say anything? It looked more like an off white on my laptop- my poor poor laptop. Well, hopefully, the red is a little better :) What do you think?

I had my 28 week Doctor's appointment yesterday! It went well. No ultrasound this time- I definitely miss those appointments- but he did listen to Auggie's heartbeat for a little bit. It sounded great. What I do love about the dopplers is that when I felt Auggie kick, you could hear a "BLOOP!" I got to hear it three 3 times in a row. :) After being in the doctor's office for a while, I went down to the lab to get my Glucose Test done- a.k.a they screened for Pregnancy Diabetes. It was a nasty drink- kinda tasted like flat & super sugary Orange Soda. And I kinda liked Orange Soda until I drank it :( I waited an hour- more like an hour & fifteen minutes- got my blood drawn and was sent on my way. I'm supposed to hear back today if I failed it. The girl in the office said if she didn't call today then that means I most likely passed. **EDIT- Still no call on Wednesday**

and here's the latest Belly pic...

I'm off to Hobby Lobby & Michael's to shop for Auggie's baby book! :)

I am in the process of going through my pictures from the trip so I'll update probably August 10. We'll have more to update then, too- Monday is my next Dr.'s appointment.

Slowly but surely, things are getting settled

Tim and I had a nice weekend. Tim went bow fishing in Johnson City with his cousins, Joseph & Jordan. I went to La Porte to get my registration done on my car (finally).

Drake (16 months) and Nathan (17 months) sitting in the living room at home. Jamie spent the week in La Porte and got to see what its like to have twins! LOL

Tim took the Canon to Johnson City so he could show me what it was like. Here's one of his pictures.

While Tim is working this week, I'll hopefully be able to get the house in order. While in La Porte, Mom, Jamie and I decided to take a trip up to Ohio next week. We'll probably leave Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning (we'll see though). We'll be back August 5th.. Just in time for our busy August weekend schedule to start (Fredy & Jenna's wedding!!).

Back to unpacking/organizing!

We're finally in!!

We moved into our side of the duplex yesterday (Wednesday)! Jane & Sherwin came up from Giddings with a trailer to help us move our stuff over. Luckily, it was only 5 blocks from the old place to the new one. We still have a few things to move over but we'll do that next week. The inside is all painted- Tuscan Beige- with white trim. We have a pretty green wall in our room. We're going to leave August's room plain since I have an idea of how I would like to decorate it once we get his crib. We spent our first night last night.. Boy! What a difference! Tim came home from work this afternoon and we could actually talk to each other from the kitchen to the living room without yelling or saying "HUH??" The old place was too closed in.

We went to the doctor on Tuesday for a regular check up. Dr. Meduna said everything looked good. He even commented that I still had ankles! YAY! He also said that it looks like it's a normal, healthy pregnancy and baby! I haven't had access to a scanner to scan the last ulatrasound picture but here are a couple from the 20 week ultrasound:

This one is of his head (the round part) with his hands to his mouth (like sucking his thumbs or praying).
This one is of his hand fully extended (like a wave) near his head.

I guess I better get back to unpacking!
