My mom came to CS Thursday to help me unpack/organize a little bit. I'm pretty proud that I put a big dent in our boxes. We still have boxes (and boxes... and boxes) at Jane & Sherwin's but we will get them out... soon.
Tim & I are back in Nacogdoches for the day. Tim is meeting with his major professor for his thesis. I'm hanging out at the Rec (sfacampusrec.blogspot.com) until I meet with Liz & Lauren for lunch. We'll drive back to CS around 3 and then I'll be leaving for either Houston to pick up my mom & Cole or to Denton to pick up Mom, Cole, Jamie & Nathan... then we'll be headed to OHIO!
Can't wait to be there!!

Slowly but surely, things are getting settled
Tim and I had a nice weekend. Tim went bow fishing in Johnson City with his cousins, Joseph & Jordan. I went to La Porte to get my registration done on my car (finally).
While Tim is working this week, I'll hopefully be able to get the house in order. While in La Porte, Mom, Jamie and I decided to take a trip up to Ohio next week. We'll probably leave Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning (we'll see though). We'll be back August 5th.. Just in time for our busy August weekend schedule to start (Fredy & Jenna's wedding!!).
Back to unpacking/organizing!

Drake (16 months) and Nathan (17 months) sitting in the living room at home. Jamie spent the week in La Porte and got to see what its like to have twins! LOL
Tim took the Canon to Johnson City so he could show me what it was like. Here's one of his pictures.

We're finally in!!
We moved into our side of the duplex yesterday (Wednesday)! Jane & Sherwin came up from Giddings with a trailer to help us move our stuff over. Luckily, it was only 5 blocks from the old place to the new one. We still have a few things to move over but we'll do that next week. The inside is all painted- Tuscan Beige- with white trim. We have a pretty green wall in our room. We're going to leave August's room plain since I have an idea of how I would like to decorate it once we get his crib. We spent our first night last night.. Boy! What a difference! Tim came home from work this afternoon and we could actually talk to each other from the kitchen to the living room without yelling or saying "HUH??" The old place was too closed in.
We went to the doctor on Tuesday for a regular check up. Dr. Meduna said everything looked good. He even commented that I still had ankles! YAY! He also said that it looks like it's a normal, healthy pregnancy and baby! I haven't had access to a scanner to scan the last ulatrasound picture but here are a couple from the 20 week ultrasound:
This one is of his head (the round part) with his hands to his mouth (like sucking his thumbs or praying).
This one is of his hand fully extended (like a wave) near his head.
I guess I better get back to unpacking!

Rainy Day in La Porte
Some of the outer parts of Hurricane Alex are hitting the Houston area today. It should be a rain filled day and I'm supposed to be heading back to College Station. :)
Friday's 20 week sonogram went well. We are officially having a boy! The technician said that he was very active and looked healthy. We were given 5 more ultrasound pictures. I'll try making digital copies this weekend so I can post them next week.
Tim & I will move into our new house next week! Tim finally got a hold of the tenants and the family is moving out by the 8th. We'll have a busy couple of weeks getting things moved 5 blocks down. We'll definitely start next week but we have a wedding reception to go to in Dallas on the 10th. Tim took off part of the next week so we can move and hopefully celebrate our one year! I can't believe it has been a year already! :)
I'll hopefully be posting sometime next week
